In our last episode of Fun with Numbers, we pointed out that AWLA categorizes revenue from Kids Camp under “League Revenue and Support” while the primary expenses necessary to stage Kids Camp (i.e. the cost of sheltering the animals that enable Kids Camp) are assigned to the County Contract.

This year in Brooklyn, NY, a pit-bull named Oreo was thrown off the roof of a six-story apartment building by an abusive owner. Badly hurt, Oreo was turned over to the ASPCA and nursed back to health.
